Exhibition - the photo's

20 October 2014

During the food festival KRACHTVOER at De Studio in Antwerp, Yves of DIFT curated an exhibition, named ‘The Next Big Five’ - following his social media project. He selected work by designers, brands and cooks like Kenzo, Foodstorms, Honest by and Jo-Anne McArthur.

The Next Big Five is a critical, yet positive story about five everyday animals: cattle, sheep, salmon, chickens and pigs: animals that are truly everywhere, but that we seldom see.

It’s a story based on the huge impact of our food habits and lifestyle on nature, people and animals.

The Next Big Five proves there’s an alternative and found inspiring brands, organizations, cooks and designers in Belgium and abroad who created another dimension for plant-based, thrive, vegan, faux-leather or sustainable.

On October 18 & 19, The Next Big Five left its usual online platform with an exhibition during the second edition of Krachtvoer, themed scarcity/abundance.
