Frank Ocean's low-key tumblr post about his true frist love wasn't only unexpected and moving, it's breaking boundaries. Only a few days before his coming out Frank Anderson Cooper made his announcement at The Daily Beast.

Ebony.com had quite the headline: "Why Frank Ocean's Coming Out is More Significant than Anderson Cooper's". I hope there's no competition here, I'm glad they both came out. But Rod McCullom's article on Ebony.com is an interesting read about a world "dominated by hyper-sexuality and homophobia" and the importance of one's come out...

Frank Anderson Cooper ended his letter with "I do think visibility is important, more important than preserving my reporter’s shield of privacy."
