Frank Ocean's first true love

15 July 2012

Frank Ocean's low-key tumblr post about his true frist love wasn't only unexpected and moving, it's breaking boundaries. Only a few days before his coming out Frank Anderson Cooper made his announcement at The Daily Beast.

Ebony.com had quite the headline: "Why Frank Ocean's Coming Out is More Significant than Anderson Cooper's". I hope there's ...

Storm Thorgerson / A&Gallery

22 June 2012

A&Gallery kicked off their Storm Thorgerson expo yesterday, and it even looked like they booked the weather for the event too. Storm all over!

And that was more than just, because A&G's new expo really rocks. Who doesn't know Storm Thorgersons work for Pink Floyd, Goose & Muse? And for once, they choose not to settle in Ghent, but in the great Fort Napoleon in Ostend (the city of rock heroes).

Heroes Ben, Wouter & Lana of A&G managed to get another top ...

Object Préféré

27 April 2012

That collaborating, sharing ideas, and getting out of your comfort zone delivers results, was made clear by “Object Préféré”, an expo in Milan (earlier at Valerie Traan) where Fabrica (the Italian communication & research centre of the Benneton Group) and the Belgian Grand-Hornu Images showed 15 unique furniture items.

These items are the output of a workshop of young Fabrica designers, alongside with ...

KINK

18 April 2012

Porn? Art? Or just fun, beautiful and a pleasant show? KINK magazine celebrated it's fifth year at the end of 2011 and has been an example for all-gay erotic magazines since it's start. The Dutch magazine BUTT was precedent, but KINK welcomes with a +100 pages magazine, in color and gives with each edition the playground to some young photographers from around the world.

KINK is made by the Spanish duo Paco Y Manolo. They've been in the spotlight with 'Common People' and published "Ten years of Primavera ...
